"At first glance, it looks like a giant child armed with a box of crayons has been set loose upon the landscape.
Yet far from being a child’s sketchbook, this is, in fact, the northern Netherlands in the middle of tulip season.
The Dutch landscape in May is a kaleidoscope of color as the tulips burst into life.. The bulbs are planted in late October and early November.

Arizona probably has to produce some of the best skateboarding I ever see! It has that California finesse with the NYC/NJ creativity that I alway look forward to whenever I see any sort of footage that is produced daily by people all over the world. Though I dont know him personally, videographer Jackson Casey, is probably surrounded by some of the most talented skateboarders I have ever seen! In this fast moving pace of the technilogical age, you have to ensure that you keep things fresh with each day of going out to stack footage, and Jackson did a flawless job with his new video "Boyish" Featuring Ryan Sublette, Mango (Slap Magazine's one in a million contestant), Jonathan Pierce, Preston Harper, and other AZ skateboarders that continuously shut it down everytime I see footy produced by them. The video has only been out a week and its sort of a bummer that people are already placing clips online. (I was psyched to see Jonathan's amazing part, then bummed when I realized that the internet spoiled a video I looked forward to for a while!) If you see any of these clips online report them ASAP and please support the hardwork Jackson put in for this vid!!!!

Temporary Storage Projects kicks off its programming at Brooklyn Fire Proof with AFTER WE MET, a multi-disciplinary exhibition organized by guest curator Claudia Eve Beauchesne, and featuring works by local and international artists.

These days, most relationships are formed and/or maintained online, but our mediated exchanges are still shaped by memories of face to face meetings, and sustained by the prospect of future encounters. AFTER WE MET is an exploration of the ties that can bind two people on a personal level or in an artistic context. Some of the works were made by two artists working in collaboration; others are formal or conceptual representations of interpersonal relationships made by a single artist; others still are remnants of past affiliations, or salvaged fragments of virtual exchanges. The participating artists live in different cities and work in diverse mediums, but their artistic practices and this exhibition are the products of true connections. Shown side by side, the works form a dialogue and become part of a larger conversation. After we met, this is what we made.
